Imagine you live all alone on a beautiful island. You are perfectly well at first because every day you feel the sand under your feet and the warmth of the sun’s rays on your skin, while you breathe in the sea air and hear the sound of the sea. At some point, small ailments such as headaches, skin irritations, indigestion, or the like start and you cannot explain where they come from.
With this measurement, I realized how often I reached for a snack that I actually didn’t need and how many temptations there are in everyday life. It’s one thing not to buy all those things yourself anymore. But it does require certain discipline and willpower, even with the tastiest cakes offered at various social events, to say “No, thanks!”.
